This time of year makes me think of Sam's birthmom and the incredible sacrifice that she made for him. She is a rock star and we love her.
Sam is silly and oh so fun. Today woke up to a room full of balloons, pancakes for breakfast (his favorite), and presents (pictures to come). We are going to spend some time at iJump this afternoon as part of Sam's day of favorites and just see how much fun we can pack into one day. :) While he's sleeping, I thought I'd post some recent pictures and his birthday interview.
He has started undressing while in bed. It makes me laugh every time.
Sprinklers have been a big hit this summer. Every time it also included a clothing change.
Post swimming (he was freezing)
Love that grin.
Playing with a friend in the pool.
Sam's really been into digging. Ryan had a project he worked on outside that included digging, and of course, Sam wants to be just like daddy. :)
Eating grapes with a spoon.
Bubbles.
Sleeping during lunch.
On the way home from swimming lessons. :) We had fun together.
Eating cereal with milk out of a bowl for the first time.
Forts and flashlights.
Taking a break in a corn bin at the fair.
Animals at the fair. We had so much fun. Grandma Davis came up and spent the day with us. It was a blast. :)
Mama accidentally scratched this cute face. Oops. He's a trooper.
Potatoes off the beater.
Trying to be like daddy.
Golf with daddy.
Sam has a new big boy bed set up in his room. He loves it (but doesn't want to sleep in it yet).
Yup, we're all in trouble.
Birthday interview. Ignore mom's crappy camera skills and the wigglyness of the boy. :)
Sam's b-ma came to visit this summer. We loved having her here.
Sam watching daddy "dig" with the "car".
He makes a cute audience.
Love these boys!
Being silly.
We sure love this boy! Here's to another year of awesome!
