Like any other little starry-eyed little girl I grew up thinking I wanted to find my own prince charming. I dreamed of how handsome he would be. We would spend all of our days together dancing and frolicking in the fields of flowers. He would tell me I was beautiful and buy me roses and somewhere in the mix he would delight me with a diamond ring.
When I was seventeen my mother asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I answered with a smart reply, "Mom, I want a man". Christmas day came and much to my surprise there was a Ken doll under the tree waiting for me. He was a miniature version of my prince charming. We have been good friends these many years. However, yesterday I was forced to give him up for my very own (life-sized this time) prince charming. How did I know he was my prince charming? Well, I became suspicious when we started spending all of our time together. After that, he told me I was beautiful, gave me roses and yesterday he delighted me with a diamond ring! That was enough to seal the deal, but he is more than my own prince charming, he is my best friend. I am so blessed to have him in my life.
